Profile: History
Founded in 1994, Greenwood is a Canadian high-technology
education group specializing in providing quality educational
software.
This award-winning website (www.Greenwood.ca) focuses on English as a
Second Language (ESL) learning programs for students in
regions such as Canada, U.S., Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and
China.
Greenwood is used by educational bodies such
as the Language Instructions for NewComers program (LINC)
in Canada for new immigrants, and the Education Department
of Hong Kong for their computer-in-school initiative.
Greenwood, based on requests from schools,
has also been training ESL teachers in high-technology learning
systems for overseas assignments.
Greenwood is part of Team Canada, a
Canadian Prime Minister-led national team of organizations
capable of international exchanges and development.
Finally, extremely professional and stable staff are complemented by steady management.
The company has had the same directorship since incorporation in 1994.
In 2010, a non-profit arm was established to help young students in
learning about etiquette, social responsibilities, and morals.
